Bamboo Mid-State Chapter President
I called him today, after receiving an email from him after some time. He said that there are no bamboo manufacturing within Kentucky. There are small scale nurseries, but they don't produce anything on a large scale. There is no large scale growing because they can't find a company to buy the bamboo. Yet there are businesses out in the US looking for a bamboo manufacturers. It's a Catch-22. An attempt to start a bamboo industry in the US is under way, but it will take time.
